Anna Nicole Smith Dies At Age 39 In some shocking news, Anna Nicole Smith (aka Vickie Lynn Hogan) has passed away. While in her room at the Hard Rock Cafe and Casino in Hollywood, Fl, Anna Nicole Smith collapsed. When the rescue unit responded, she was unresponsive. She was then transferred to Memorial Regional Hospital where she died nearly an hour later. Anna Nicole Smith's life was hardly uncontroversial or uneventful. Anna Nicole Smith first gained notoriety as a busty Playboy model. After giving stiffies to most of the men in America (and marking a place on my wall with her super sexy wet t-shirt ad for Guess), she broke all of our hearts by marrying a stiff 89 year old Texas oil tycoon named J. Howard Marshall II in 1994. After his passing, she was awarded a $474 million judgment which was then cut to $89 million and then chopped to $0. In May, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled that Smith could continue to pursue the fortune in federal courts in California despite a Texas state court ruling that Marshall’s youngest son was the sole heir. It didn't matter though...The marriage was all about love, right? Other notable events in Anna's life included the ballooning of her body which was archived in her own reality TV series, The Anna Nicole Smith Show. While watching that show which was the highest rated on VH1, we learned that if her brains were as big as her tits, she'd be a genius...but that her brains were in fact much smaller to the point of non existence. After the show, Anna dropped all of her weight, returning back to the vixen she once was while landing a spokes model position for TrimSpa. On Tuesday, she was named in a class action suit against the Trimspa pill claiming that no pill can promote weight loss, but I guess her involvement in this case will now be nil. Anna grabbed her most recent headlines when Smith's 20-year-old son Daniel died in her hospital room while visiting Smith after the birth of her daughter. A coroner's report ruled that the death was caused by an overdose of anti-depressants and methadone. After that blow to her, paternity testing ensued to find out the daughter's real father. It looks like the whole inheritance/child support thing has come full swing. Unfortunately Anna Nicole Smith is gone, and all of this battling will be done while she is departed.
