Jessica Simpson hit the stage on Sunday night at the Kennedy Center Honors show to pay tribute to Dolly Parton. While singing "9 to 5", Daisy Duke royally fucked up the lyrics, muttered the words "So nervous”, and ran off the stage to absolutely no applause. Jessica Simpson reappeared at the finale with the other singers who were paying tribute, apparently in tears. I guess Jessica didn't learn from her sister Ashley Simpson's SNL mistake. She should have come back on stage and blamed the band! CBS will broadcast the show Dec. 26 at 9 p.m. I wonder if they’ll keep the freak out intact!

Now since I told you I had a story from the Billboard Music Awards, I'll keep my promise. While Fergie appeared on stage in a short little floofy skirt lacking her trademark wet spot, she managed to forget the words to her own song. While she was singing a cover of JJ Fad's Supersonic...I mean... While she was singing Fergalicious, she stumbled over her own tongue and began to babble imaginary words while concentrating on not falling in her clunky pumps. Sure stumbling over the words to a song isn't disastrous, but once you begin making up words, you enter a whole new dimension! At least we have proof that her appearance wasn't lip synched!
